CODE OF CONDUCT

EMPLOYEES


The effectiveness of ACA is directly related to the depth and sincerity of every employee’s commitment to the Statement of Faith & Vision of the school. Therefore, every employee must be committed to pursuing a lifestyle, on and off the job, which is consistent with the mission of ACA, compatible with Biblical standards of morality, and reflective of the message, mission, and character of Jesus Christ.



The following conduct and attitudes are expected from each ACA employee:


  1. Has committed his/her life to the Lord Jesus Christ
  2. Genuinely desires to be at ACA
  3. Understands and respects God and His word
  4. Respects authority and respects others
  5. Sincerely desires to grow professionally and is internally motivated to do his/her best at all times
  6. Displays a sense of self-discipline and responsibility
  7. Demonstrates integrity, honesty, truthfulness and trustworthiness at all times
  8. Willingly and cheerfully accepts and adheres to school policies, procedures, and guidelines
  9. Adheres to the principles represented in the ACA Statement of Faith
  10. Understands and agrees with the Vision of ACA
  11. Lives a life above reproach as a representative in our community of ACA on and off campus




STUDENTS


Parents, of all Preschool - 8th grade students, agree that students shall comply with the school’s student behavior standards which are located in the Student & Parent Handbooks given out with registration & available at orientation.




The following behaviors and attitudes are expected from each Anchor Christian Academy student:

  1. Genuinely desires to attend ACA
  2. Respects authority and respects others
  3. Sincerely desires to improve themselves and is internally motivated to do their best at all times
  4. Displays a sense of self-discipline and responsibility
  5. Demonstrates integrity, honesty, truthfulness and trustworthiness
  6. Abstains from the use of illegal drugs and alcohol
  7. Willingly accepts and adheres to school guidelines with a cheerful spirit and an attitude that communicates a desire to comply
  8. Abides by the student behavior standards identified in their Student Handbook
  9. Refrains from the disruptive and reproachful behaviors identified in their Student Handbook, and from illegal behaviors
